Between the Soma Rush and Surly Steamroller which is likely to be more comfortable?
I'm curious to hear from people who have tried the Rush and Steamroller and if they could give their opinion on which one would likely be more comfortable?

I have a Rush. It's a very comfy ride, aside from the fact that my bars are a little low. I'm using a Flite TT on it. With the give of the frame the slight about of padding is just enough to take the edge off.
I've never actually ridden the Steamroller though. How about the IRO Angus? 631 tubing (same as the Rush), and a cool straight blade fork for less $$$ (I think - no pricing on IRO's site right now).

I dunno folks... they're both made of metal, and metal just isn't comfortable at all. Add a seat.
If it's geometry you're talking about, odds are the surly will be a little more comfortable, due to the slacker angles, longer TT, and lower stand-over.

common sense would say the Surly has more relaxed geometry so it would be more "comfortable", but I imagine it depends a lot on the fit, and your riding style. whichever bike fits your body and your riding style better is likely to be the more comfortable bike for you.
I've got a Soma Rush, but I can't tell you how comfortable it is yet. It's sitting on my desk playing paperweight until I get all the parts together.
