Totally Unrelated But Worth The Time
I'm a bit of a lurker on these boards. I ride an old Schwinn conversion in Portland, Or.
My brother linked me to a thread on a totally unrelated forum (cars) that's hilarious. Some troll starts posting links advertising his own gambling websites. The other members track down his personal info and before the end of the first page discover the guy is a sex offender. Anyway, it made me appreciate the fact that the worst that happens here is someone gets accused of shilling for BikesDirect.

Edit: And even better, one guy is using the mugshot as his avatar!

No problem.
Guy posts on a car forum about how he paid $63K in cash for his sports car.
How did he get all this money? By winning it through a gambling site, which as you may guess, turns out to be owned by him.
As he continually denies the spamming, other posters search his personal info and found out that he was convicted for having sex with a 15 year old girl when he was 24. They have his name, address, picture, etc.

Just because this is really off topic, I'm going to give it a lock. If you'd rather have it merged with the stupid thread, let me know.
