It wasn't pretty. Worst day I have had on a bike in a long time. I spent most of the time trying to avoid throwing up. It was muddy and it was HOT!!! It just wasn't my day.

I can relate to that - my mom makes a ghetti sauce guaranteed to overcome the strongest willpower.

I lost my battle with the Chinese buffet yesterday as well. I did ride a little over 60 miles last night to make up for it though. Hopefully I burned enough calories to get be back where I was before the General Tso's.

I took it pretty easy on the ride, just stayed around 17 mph average with a few decent climbs. I also did a few sprints and hit a new max wattage. I finally went over the 1,000 watt mark and hit 1,006 watts for a couple of seconds!

You know, considering I live right next to the largest "China Town" in Asia and one of the largest in the world, you'd think I could get some kick ass General's chicken. But nooooo! Outside of North America, I guess you can't get it. I've had to settle for some cashew chicken and some vegie gyoza.

Anyway, I've been lurking for sometime in this thread. It actually got me to run out and buy a slick for the rear wheel. I got a Spinervals disc with my trainer and man it is a good time. I can burn an hour on the bike and it feels like half that. Considering I'm sweating my butt off and often in pain, I would still classify it as a good time. I'm hovering around 105 kg which I've been at since I lost 5 kg a year ago. I need to drop another 10 kg yet this year. I'm a smidge under 180cm and it is high time to get back in shape. Thanks for motivation.

C Heath - this is the time to really put everything into it. You are only 2 pounds from goal. You can get there within 2 weeks. Stay away from the pasta if it leads to extra helpings, stay away from the Chinese food, count calories -- whatever it takes. Say to yourself "I can have this again in two weeks, but not now"

Soooo close -- close it out.

LOL, I told ya my legs were ultra skinny! I got that honest from my mom, if you look closely, My right one is much smaller than the left. I broke my Right foot AND ankle at the same time in 1996 trying an "Air Raley" on a Wakeboard, behind a boat. Ive never seemed to get it back to the size of my left calf. I am working on it though. I still climb well, just not a weight weenie "yet" hehe.

This morning I was hovering between 203 and 204 so I called it 204 on fitday.

I am consuming 1500 healthy calories as day, similiar to you. And hitting the elliptical and light weights in the afternoons (30 min)

29 pounds to go, 104 days. I think I can make it.
