Too funny..
Although I've ridden the Trek for just 160 miles, it has been a joy to ride for every one of them.
Changes/Upgrades:
Ritchey WCS carbon handlebar w/ Ergon GP3
Swapped the small cyclecross(?) style pedals for Shimano platforms
Swapped the 32mm Bontrager road-ish tires for 35mm Schwalbe AllRound (they measure as 33mm tho)
ToDo:
Bontrager carbon seatpost arriving next week.
Swap 11-42 cassette for 11-36 ?
Go tubeless ?

Probably a good solution for the flat bar hands issue. More aero isn't the main goal. I used to ride with a K-hound who had aero bars way jacked up on his road bike - except during PBP years. He's down to 18 mile rides now - Afib - a victim of his success.

Added this one not long ago. 1971 PX10. Not all original, but modified by previous owner for hills. That’s good for me. A winter rebuild project. French fit, naturalmente.

This was my lust object back in college. Being a poor college student, I was stuck with my 33 lb Schwinn Varsity - but I did ride the damn thing 10s of thousands of miles.

thought -
when asked, "Between sizes = upsize or downsize?". Sometimes the answer depends more on frame. This one, UPsized, will benefit with a switch to 700c, and tire widths to match the intended ride's surface.

Always glad to ride a new ride for new terrain.
A change from western Washington weather to west slope Colorado - things,… even old roadie habits, improve with change.
Not new to 100% gravel rides, just inexperienced lately. Miyata is a tad smaller than my GFisher at Seattleish home, both made in Taiwan in 1991.

My oldest bike which beat me to death today climbing 2600’ and 36 miles. Has 1980s gearing. One grade was 16%. Ooof!
