today i made myself the best lunch at work that ive had in a while

2 days ago i started marinating chicken chili lime style: lime juice, equal parts tapatio-oil-soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, cumin, paprika, cayenne. it wouldve been better grilled but i just fried it on a no stick pan w no added oil

also cooked some polenta cakes to go with it and sliced up a whole avo w salt and cayenne on top (thanks scrod!)

Today I hunkered down during my lunch to pick a B-day present for my sqrl. Had an epiphany and preordered the new upcoming olympus ep5 camera body for her in sqrl white.
Picking a B-day present hasn't been so easy considering I've had to retrieve the ep3 between us from her purse every time I needed it.

Went out for a quick fun ride. First I was like "chiiiiiill" then I was like "GO HARD BIG RING FASTER" and ended up with 3 Strava PRs. Basically I cat6'd the **** out of the bike path. Top speed 26mph god damn I'm slow. Then I got home and my goodies from RG were on the doorstep.

****, then I guess I am slow, or its because NYC is crowded as f*ck.

Why does B&H need to be run by hasidic's? Nothing against them but they have the worst hours! Do they not realize that their store is in Manhattan.
Monday - Thur 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
Friday - 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
Saturday - Closed
Sunday - 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

This is me on the daily, I felt all badass yesterday because I was averaging 26mph on some segments due to a tailwind. (Was totally bummed I didn't even try, came in 7th overall on a segment and had I hammered a bit, probably could have gotten close to the KOM.)

I'm slow as balls tho, but I keep getting PRs so that means I'm getting better, right?

Well, it's still technically broken, but I went to the doc and he said I don't need a cast/splint or sling anymore. I'm not supposed to lift with or lean on the arm for another 3 weeks (it takes 6 weeks for a broken bone to heal minimum), but it's feeling better. I just can ride at the moment. Dang it.
