It's frickin' pouring here in the Valley. Quarter inch so far and a tropical 51 degrees. Yesterday's ride was 83 and sunny, but the warning came when the wind flipped from north to south before I got home.

It hasn't stopped raining since early this morning here in the Peninsula. It's like we went back in time to Winter.

Stupid Stupid, Stupid!
I live in sunny warm easy bay and trusted the SF weather forecast yesterday…. Shorts & short sleeves.
I froze and had to stop at Land’s End park shop to buy an extra cycling jersey.
I won’t do that again, I’ll find a cheaper shop.
🙂

Went out to sit and watch the Northern lights and then found out you needed a camera to see them? Fog rolled in so that negates the whole deal.

I feel like I'm living Groundhog Day. For most of May we've had the exact same weather; sunny and windy, highs around 60, lows in the mid-40s. We rarely get the same weather two days in a row; this is ridiculous.
How has it been where you are?

Couple of fairly warm days but otherwise extremely pleasant. We do have our first 90 degree day in the forecast for middle of next week.

Fantastic weather yesterday. The ride though the Pinehurst Rd. valley (between the Canyon Rd Intersection and the first hairpin) was simply magical.
My complaint? It's going to get hot this week. Once again, I am being deprived of my God-given right to perfect weather in the Bay Area. Harumph!

Get up a little early and get out there before noon. It will be fine, bring water of course.

The ride yesterday morning to work was pleasant but starting around noon it heated up quick. I went home at noon to swap from bike to truck so I could dump trash in the work dumpster and wash it afterwards and went I went home, it was 85 degrees. An hour later, it was 95. Got up early today for a run to beat the heat and when I hit the trails at 7:30am it was already in the upper 60's and over 70 when I finished an hour later. I'm grateful that it's going to be 10 degrees cooler tomorrow. It's a bit early in the season to be getting high temps in the mid-90's.

Yikes! It looks like we might hit the high 60s this week and the high winds seem to be over.
