Have funds for new bike

Brown Bear, Sqrl Hunter
Depending on the use case, I would go with either or. For example:
Commuter bike to take on the train and lock up wherever (pretty much a beater)- Kilo TT
More of a fixed that I'm going to ride from point A to point B, with minimal locking up- SST-AL
Reasoning? Purely because I'm worried the AL will easily dent, compared to the thick steel of the Kilo TT. This could be an unwarranted fear, but it's my reasoning.
Fuji? At that price I would just get a Kilo TT Pro

Your cog is slipping.
A friend of mine has and SST-AL and it really isn't that flimsy. He's pretty rough on it and it's holding up just fine.

Maybe it is an unwarranted fear. My Scott Speedster S40 back in the day took a few dents from it falling over, etc. I think the SST-AL is thicker aluminum?

Thank you all for your input...
I cant convince myself to love SST-AL - because of the brushed aluminum. I had similar thing before (Giant Bowery) and it looked like "I want to be pretty like kitchen appliances"..
To continue this going i will change the topic now...
Someone mentioned Wabi and it is definetely tempting, specially since I have some goodies in garage with cash conversion potential..
The question is how much Wabi worthy to spend $250 extra compare to Kilo Pro?
Obviously weight weight ~3lbs lighter.
Kilo has very decent Sugino cranks and OK wheelset.
What is the practical difference between 520 and 725 ..is it where weight difference is coming from?
I like the chance to configure the setup on Wabi - it can save few bucks later you might spend on TT Pro...
Am I losing the point?

Both of those statements are just educated guesses though, as a disclaimer.
I am super confused as to why this is relevant.

What we have on Kilo Pro is Alex SUB set and I remember on my wife's Cafe Express 8 was the same wheelset and I changed the front wheel to $40 road wheel from Nashbar..And the bike lost over a pound doing nothing else....
I assume Alez Sub is over 2300 gramms.
If we are talking about weight ...

Your cog is slipping.
The SST-AL used to come in black, white and brushed aluminum. I didn't realize the black and white weren't still available.

And now you do not want to be responsible for what you did...
You word is needed... TT Pro for 449 or Wabi for 695?

I'm sorry, man. You could always get a Thruster:
I hear those things are one size fits all and there's plenty of 'em to go around.
