Why Are 26T 6 Speed Freewheels So Rare?

Having seen this in the thread....
I just went and dug out my Regina GS 13-26.......one notch is good but the other.....damn.
I must have been a misanthrope. I started with a 13-26 and then bought a Rally derailluer so I could go bigger. lol...
has weak removal notches
You would have to be very unsocial to own and mount a 13-26 back then.

If you are still looking, I have a Winner narrow 6 spd that I would give you for the cost of postage. I think it has a 13, so it may not solve your chain wrap problems.

I've been running a 6 speed 28t with Gran Sport, on my '64 Legnano Roma. It is paired with a 52/42 crank. It doesn't like doing big big, but otherwise plays nice together. I removed the dropout screws and pulled the wheel all the way back to avoid chain interference between jocky wheel and 28t gear.
