I checked out the Aero Tech website and like the look of their bibs. I might have to give them a try. Are they available in stores or on-line only?

Not no padding But , the sweat absorbent liner 'chamois' has no additional cushioning, padding behind it ..
and a well broken in Brooks saddle and 3 pair of bike shorts, to always have a clean pair in the morning,
has been my long distance touring kit , for decades..
