I have a Fuji Newest. It was my entry into modern-day road cycling. Mine has Sora components, and currently it has around 8,500 miles on it. No problems. I've worn out chains and tires, but the bike and components have been good.
I've since gotten a carbon frame bike, but I still ride the Fuji regularly. Currently, it is my night bike for after work rides, and if it looks as if I may get caught in the rain for a day ride, I take Ol' Fuj.

Good decision on canceling the Victory Vision. Customer reviews were very poor. Original posters were being nice wishing you good luck. Most folks pump up VV tires and they blew out due to issues with the spokes.

I like the Schwinn, but I'm guessing it's a bit on the large side for you based on the saddle placement with no post showing.
I hope you enjoy riding your new road bike.
Why so many similar mountain bikes?

Don't know much about Airborne bikes. I know they have a checkered history. That they made some nice bikes a few years back, even some Titanium bikes with very good component sets. But then were sold to Huffy and substantially cheapened.
Yours looks like one of the good ones, as I don't think the Huffy models had disc brakes. Some of their bikes sold for $2000+.

We'll chalk this up as a rookie mistake, but he was clearly kidding around with my response, not calling you a liar. You'll have a lot more fun here if you lighten up a little. There are very few real jerks on this board and they are much less subtle than what you've seen so far.

well as said in a earlier post I put in my order last Monday 11/23/09 for the Fuji and here it is 11/30/09 and they don't even know where it is ! I did tell them I could have ordered it my self and had it here in 3 days ! this is one of 2 bike shops I deal with and they have always done me right ! I was told it would be here 11/27/09 but what bothers me the most I did not even get a courtesy call ! so now I go back to work and am out of riding time with the weather and 14 hour work days ! arrrrrrrrggg

I had no idea that hijacking of this thread would take place for posting pictures of recenty aquired bikes. Isnt what this thread was all about ?

I'm not at all trying to discourage you from posting the pictures of your bikes, but merely suggesting that you consider starting a new thread for them. I think your new bikes deserve their own thread so they can be discussed while the OP keeps the discussion about his purchase going. Sorry if I was too blunt and gave the wrong impression.

Hey it's OK I don't mind at all if you have that kind of money to spend on a bike then power to you ! But not to wine but when you and your wife both loose your jobs and your house then you see why I spend what I spend but I can still have several cheap walmart bikes that I have and enjoy them and not be a snooty snob about it after all this is Michigan and jobs are hard to come by
how about this one
how about this one
Cheers, Jerry in NW ohio
