Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm thinking that 127.0.0.1 guy is coasting in to his 10,000th mile today.

He's got us all beat.

I don't really care but WKO is kind enough to tabulate it for me. It was by month though, I had add them up myself

Road Nazis may be delusional, but at least they know how to ride, and at least they know what works and doesn't in this stupid sport. And that's most of the battle right there.

Therefore, even though they are utterly insufferable, they're easier to take than the Freds.

Let's face it. You all suck. That's why I ride alone.

It doesn't get more Elitist that than.

At the same time, I am in touch with my own suckiness, and I can't even stand myself.

That's why I ride with an iPod.

After today's ride, 633. Or, approximately six times my total for the last 30 years.
