Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How is that saddle for a more upright or endurance rider? Or opinion on the Spec. Romin instead?

The power and power arc are good for both upright and tucked positions. The padding is where it needs to be as the sit bones roll forward IMO. The Phenom is good in more upright positions but starts to cause pressure if I tuck too much or too long. Not sure on the Romin.

I had a 143mm Toupe Pro for many years and finally got fed up with discomfort - mostly numbness if the ride was too long or aggressive. Did the Specialized Ass-O-Meter and they decided I needed a 155mm saddle instead. Decided to try out the Specialized Power and have been riding with that for over a year now very happily. Riding on the nose becomes a bit more difficult on the Power but the extra large channel hole of the Power makes regular riding much more comfortable. I just acquired a Shimano Pro Stealth saddle and I'm curious if that will be better than the Power because the channel width is even wider.

There's this article on cyclingtips comparing the two: https://cyclingtips.com/2017/10/spec...arison-review/

Do let us know if their findings correlate with your experience, thanks
