Trek Lover or Hater?

You Know!? For Kids!
Lucky!!!!! You ever take it off any sweet jumps? Been a Trek lover since I saw my first Trek back in the 80's. I lust after your bike, would you take a Trek 1200 and some pocket lint in trade?

I think... I'm in love. Holy crap that is one sleek machine, and the photography is stunning. If you can post a 1024x768 version of the first shot -- for desktop wallpaper purposes -- that'd be AWESOME.

Looks good in a classic way. (I like Trek CF in general as well. Good bikes)
I still hate those FSA cranks though.

Agree. Ugly big ring, but the FSA cranks look way better than those super fugly Stonglight Pulsion things IMO, which I advocate wrapping in brown paper to improve the look.
RAD, get a silver chainring!!!

sexy pictures of a sexy frame with a sexy paintjob, but for it to be a true sex icon it "MUST" be ridden, im sure it would look far more beutiful if that bike had just blurred past me on the road rather then it sitting idle.
Oh, and if your just scared to ride for you fear you may damage or deface your nice bike there, id gladly do the honors, while you snap away for some "in action" photos.

I'm a Trek "liker," but that is one sexy bike. The paint it had before made it look like a Giant.

I dig the paint job. I thnk it looks much better than the original. Not only that, but as a previous post alluded to, people will be wondering, "What model is that?". Very cool!

Very impressive photography. Makes me realize how non-existent my photographic skills are.
Paintjob is way better than stock. As for Trek, I'm no hater but certainly no lover. If you dig it, that's what counts.

what a great looking bike. i like the black accent on the chainrings and i think they'll find a home on my bike. for that wider style of chainring, all silver would look to disc like.

Thank you all for your very nice compliments. To answer some questions...
1. Yes, it will be ridden and hard. While the photos are amazing, little about this bike is "new". That spot is reserved for the Tete.
2. The photography is courtesy of my good friend and co-worker, Todd McClelland. Seriously, one of the most talented and gifted Directors of Photography I've ever worked with. And yes, I work in the film business so getting these done was merely a matter of asking for a favor.
3. Larger photo for wallpaper - no problem. I'll post it tomorrow.
4. Santana frame was sold to fellow forum member and co-worker, Mrballistic, who also did the graphics. He's currently putting together his own custom build for that scandium screamer. As for why, I simply decided I needed to stick to larger frames.
5. The guy who painted the frame is NOT the guy doing the Tete....at least not yet. He also did the paint on the MJ. $250 total for the job.
6. All graphics are decals clearcoated over.
7. ViperZ - This project was inspired by his 5000. Seriously.
8. FSA crank - I'm not sold on the idea of keeping it. But I had nothing else. I do like the idea of a siver chainring - or anodising the one that's on there.
9. Top Down (overhead) cockpit photo is definitely my favorite.
Thanks again.
