The Stem/bar and seat tube treatment are worth the price of admission, so my disappointment at not having “Nago” is offset.

Hello again. More help please.
Does anyone know how the frame numbering system for Colnago works?
All my digging brings up is that an e mail to the factory might get a reply.
I've got a frame number of H592 with some small indistinct numbers that look like 13?8 before this.
Can anyone make sense of this or point me to some form of register?

Ha, nobody knows the frame numbering system for Colnago.
Many italian forms used non-sequential numbers to confuse the tax man on just how many frames were made.
