Is today's ride in Pasadena multiple loops over the course shown on STRAVA? So, is it four loops of 6 miles each? Up the hill four times?

No, I think that’s just the 30-mile warmup he wants to do before the Tour ride. I’ve been fighting off a cold all week, probably gonna bail out.

The poster shows the Pasadena ride as 25 miles. There is mention of "warm up loops" on STRAVA but presumably not a 30 mile warm up for a 25 mile ride.

It does not matter, the ride is over by now and I did not go. I am occupied with being home today.

The Velo Retro Ride is https://www.strava.com/activities/9030368218
I added the warmup loops to my ride: 5 laps for 30 miles and 2800 feet then had time to snack and chat before heading out with 34 lovely vintage bikes and one carbon bike equipped with a musical soundtrack.

Group split at a light.

The first stage of The Vintage Grand Tour (TVGT) was a resounding success. Nice turnout on a beautiful Spring day in Pasadena. The leader has yet to be determined. Now on to Stage 2 after some much needed rest days (tongue firmly placed in cheek).

Mike Graves did the excellent poster design. He took the illustrations off the inter web so he doesn't want to print a poster since the images aren't his.

I assume that Saturday's ride starts at the Bali Hai restaurant parking lot in Shelter Island , San Diego. I have never done the Brian Baylis ride in San Diego and saw this meeting place on an old post elsewhere. Let me know if I am incorrect. Cheers.

Looking forward to the group photo and the C&V bike porn pix.
A strava log would also be cool.
confente or Classtime captured?
