Was surprised to see horses in this field on my ride today. No fences here so they’re free to go wherever. I ride along here a lot and have never seen horses or anything else in this field.

I was a couple of weeks ago. Patagonia for about a week, Quito, then the Galapagos.

We did a lot of hiking and snorkeling, but unfortunately, zero bike riding. The weather in Patagonia (Torres Del Paine) was great for hiking, but would have been challenging on a bike … super windy much of the time.

I’m going back to Patagonia again. Love the mountains, the glacial lakes, the solitude, and the culture.

Pretty much missed the fall colors at the higher elevations … but there are still some at the lower elevations. This is Pine Creek Canyon in the Eastern Sierra.
