Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

spesh romin evo pro in size 155mm:

they dont stock that one at the shop so i gotta wait til next week to get it. they put me on a romin comp in that size til then. FAR more comfy than my stock saddle. now i know what it's like to have support under my sits bones instead of all my weight sitting on my gooch. i'm also waiting on my 58mm carbon clinchers i ordered. i hate waiting.

Very badass but you should've bought the red valve stem collars to complement your red anodized billet aluminum valve caps.

HOTT!!!
Thanks,

I'll post it there when I get it finished. Crank, seat, handlebars, spacers, are placeholders, waiting for parts and dialing the fit in.

After reading the pedals thread, I decided I had to have a pair of Time RXS Carbons. I will see if they are as comfortable as the Look 296's I've had for years...

Bought a used Giant Roam. We vacation in Clearwater each year and the last 5 years, I've bought a bike while we're down here and either flip it while I'm down here, or take it back and sell it in Indy. It's pretty cool actually though I doubt I'll actually keep it.

Accessories and saddle didn't come with the bike. I brought them.

Free (to me) time share.

We try to take one other vacation elsewhere, but the powers that be like the beach. I personally could get by on one trip to the beach per decade if it meant being able to spend more time out west or in New England.

My kind of guy. Let's go ride this trail you're talking about next time you're in Clearwater.

I have a couple Halos and they are great. I had to buy more as my GF started stealing them when she goes spinning.

Giro Factor shoes, 20% off; ordered on-line. They should arrive in a few days. Checked out some in a store and like them but the store was out of my size. In fact the young salesman said the shoes didn't come in half sizes--not true as I found out.
