My commute used to be 30 km round trip (uphill there, downhill home), but I've recently moved offices and it's now 22 km round trip. I actually miss the extra distance, and steady climb to work!

14 miles one way to work, with an extra 10 miles thrown in once a week for class.

Four miles on the way in, 12 on the way home. I'd take the detour in the morning too if I could ever get my arse out of bed early enough!

I ride about 5 miles to school and back usually once a day, so it adds up to aobut 10 miles. Sometimes I have to put more than 20 miles on my bike. @0 miles is not much, but try riding a 50lb Kronan for 5 miles with a strong headwind :{)

45km one way (I get a lift home) with 450m/1500f of climbing. Riding both ways is 1300m/4200f of climbing, I have only done the return trip twice.
CHEERS.

I ride 8.5 miles to work in "whatever weather" and 8 miles in the dark coming home. For some unknown reason motorists can't see very well in the dark so I try to stay off the main roads and take mostly residential streets and the bike lanes through a local university.

15 miles each way. No idea of how much climbing, except that it is a LOT. Takes about an hour to an hour and fifteen depending on wind, how much sleep I was able to get, and how heavy my load is that day. 2-3 times a week equals keeping me in shape, and sane at work. Went from filling the gas tank twice a week to about once a month. Now that's a savings!
