Convertible, of course!
Also- with all of that insulation: think "oversized thermos" velomobile, and with about 1 square yard on the roof 100% shade. So far I have not had to remove the top since Jan.2005.

" think thermos"
These photos may or may not work- they were mostly 2005 or earlier (except the two of the JMX2- folded/open)
If they work, the fully faired green trike is the one that was mentioned- at that time with the clear top (now covered with silver insulation due to the sun) also has more Zzip side fairings, and a clear convertible window which moves for entry:

Started with a linear Mach III CLWB. It was very stable and comfortable, but it rattled a lot and was slow. I sold it. Now I ride a Haluzak Leprechaun SWB USS (Horizon for short people with a 16" front wheel). My Haluzak is sooooo comfortable! I've ridden it in the Adirondacks and the White Mountains. I had no problem climbing with it.

My wonderful Bent
The Longbikes Slipstream is an IMAX on wheels. It performed flawlessly in the 2007 RAGBRAI over 523 miles of the Iowa cornbelt.

A burley LWB frame which has pretty well all components replaced except the seat back. Nice comfortable reasonably fast machine!

When you are feeling low
In his book Gynecology, Obstetrics, Menopause, Alexander Leuf quotes Sir Arthur Conan Doyle on the subject of bicycling:
“When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope seems hardly worth having, just mount a bicycle and go out for a good spin down the road, without thought of anything but the ride you are taking. … I can only speak words of praise for the bicycle, for I believe that its use is commonly beneficial and not at all detrimental to health, except in the matter of beginners who overdo it.”
Leuf agrees, especially for women: “… it is a boon to women…, setting her upon a higher plane of health and spirits than she has been occupying.” Publication date of his book? 1902. With the advent of bloomers, women could now ride bicycles.
It actually goes on to say quite a bit more. Talking about the stimulation of the inner thigh etc...
I ride a 1983 Tour Easy, my first, a Laid Back 2000 by Milt Turner, several Bike E's, a Gold Rush, a Double Vision, a Bike E Tandem, an EZ-3, a Linear, and I do have a Re BIke though it has been years since it has been ridden because some one stole the seat. I have a tricycle that had only one gear and steered by leaning. I think it was called a Brike. I also have a couple of Tour Easys that are custom, one has spread chain stays to accomodate a snow cat rim and another was a stretched Tour Easy since the large frame was a tad to small until I converted it to a Rans seat. My wife rides a 1985 Tour Easy which she loves dearly, and also has a Vision Metro, and a LB 200 too. It has been almost 8 years since I bought a new recumbent as I bought the Bike E tandem and Bike E a week before Bike E closed.

Cruzebike Sofrider.
Diamond frame bicycles (all seats, all styles) induce severe pain within 30 minutes.
Besides...gotta be different....

I've now changed from the Flying Furniture to a RANS Rocket that I have added a Sturmey-Archer combined Drum Brake and Dynohub front hub and two B&M Lumotec front lights. I've also added mudguards and a rear rack. I've clocked up over 3,000km on it since june last year.

Got two SWB's
...my "little bike" is a RANS VRex and my "big bike" is a RANS Force 5. The F5 is noticeably faster, but "Rex" is more fun to ride - maybe it's the 4" difference in wheelbase?
