Does anyone here ride Tubulars exclusively? Not just when racing?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

+1 Now that you have made the leap, don't cheap out on tires. Check out xxcycle for decent pricing on Vittoria or Veloflex. And glue is the way to go as well.

Honestly, I think from everything I've read, the Tufo tape is a great option and much easier to use. I may try it first.

Many positive reviews here:

You're right though. No point in getting crappy tires if I'm upgrading to tubulars.

My only experience with tape was removing it from a set of used rims that I bought. What a chore. I find glue fairly straight forward once you get the hang of it. Have you read the "glueing tubulars" thread over at Weight Weenies? Very long thread, but lots of useful info. But as per the title of the thread, most over there favour glue over tape. Good luck with whatever method you choose

Ah I see. I think I've also heard that the tape can be a true pain in the butt to remove if it's hardened on there. I think you need to remove it right after you take the tire off if you're not going to mount a new one or else it can harden and be difficult to remove.

Thanks for the suggestion on the weight weenies forum. I'll check it out.
