I have been daring it to storm on me all week, and the weather finally took me up on the challenge. I had to leave my bike at work yesterday because of the severe lightning.

This week was about increasing my intensity while keeping the duration the same (or similar) as normal.
284 miles.
13.5 hours saddle time.
I'm tired. Time for lunch.
Next week will be about completely shattering my legs so I can rebuild them for the next set of races at the end of August.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

OK Tom, add me. The miles are LOW right now as my knee still hurts some after a ride - less every time - but I'm following the 10% rule (rather than the 50% rule I think I was following before!) and working up slowly.
This week: 11 miles, about 1:25 saddle time (estimated time - I didn't write it down, but I will next time)
