Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I would have gone with silver or black instead of the green, but bikes are a means of personal expression after all. In general though, that bike looks top notch - the detail on the stem faceplate is not something I would usually expect from Bontrager, nice.

Cheers

55 miles in the rain.

switched back to the 48t and got a gold 410 chain.

i didn't ride it but it still made a nice destination. riding it in this would be severely dumb.

Oh that's nice...neat shoes!

The rain up here kept me indoors for the most part of the day, only went for a 20miler.

they are neat, but they're only waterproof for about five miles.

hello all, another NewB here.

I recently picked up the 2010 Fuji Classic Track in black. so far i installed a new 17t cog and lock ring from eighthinch, front shimano 105 black brake and a set of dave mirra bmx pedals with chicago wig 3" straps. i am having trouble getting into the pedals and straps so i am ordering some mks sylvan track pedals with clips and straps tomorrow. so far i am loving the bike especially since i changed the gearing it was a 46/15 which was a bit rough since i had not been on a bike in about 18 years. the 46/17 is much better.

I'll take some nice outside shots this week and post back.

No, it actually weighs around 20lbs with sugino alluminum cranks, but atleast you got the aerospoke part right...I guess your not a complete dip****

I'll work on getting it accurately weighed.

My New SS MTB. Smooth as BUTTER!
I sand blasted the frame and had it powder coated clear. Looks like a metalic grey paint job but tough as nails! I painted the Judy with a ralley flag pattern but will be getting it powder coated red soon. Checkout those old Avid Arch Rival brakes. Never getting rid of those! This was my first build.

Yeah, especially when we're "beating dead horses" from six whole days ago. What are you riding now?

A perfectly working lugged trek with shimano 105, which now does not have 105 but instead an aerospoke.
