I'm sticking with the white tape to start after all. I keep hearing that white bar tape gives the rider a sexualized persona and attracts members of the opposite sex, and, of course, makes the bike faster. I'll find out soon and keep you all posted.

Concerning whatever color tape attracting the opposite sex....

I think it's more the low body fat, tight tush, chiseled legs, wrapped in tight spandex shorts.
