my wife is faster than me also but she ride more consistently than i do she rides everyday i ride when i'm not feeling lazy or tired yes there is a big difference in our weights im 230 she is 150 i used to lead on rides and used to be real fast but not so much anymore im 40 now and overweight she is 37 and skinny as a rail i just tell her when we go on rides leave a hour later than me then maybe i'll be off the street we live on lol...

I've been getting out a little more than my wife has been lately. I get home from work earlier than what she does so I still have a chance to go out during daylight hours. We're not into night riding and with the weather still being really cold, that sort of turns her off to riding. Personally, I prefer to ride in the cold to riding in the heat and she's just the opposite. That doesn't mean I wanna ride in 32 degree weather, it just means I don't mind throwing on a few layers.
