My neck of the woods isn’t Flagstaff but I spent some time out there last year and did a few local bike shoots. If any of these are your bike let me know.

Saw this bike just today locked up in front of the local liquor store. I think it is called a Aero? Looks like it was made a long time ago, it was in reasonable shape from what I saw.

That's in perfect condition. Maybe it's a remake of an old model. Maybe it's one of these https://www.jbikes.net/aero-26-mens-b...ser-p-928.html

Could be, a guy on another forum said its a newer bike made to look like a older bike, the bike looks like it comes out of the 50's or something, but look at the brakes, derailer. I tried to Google Aero bikes and only came up with racing type bikes.

Looks pretty close to a 2005 Manhattan Aero:

Recently visited NYC and saw a lot of "Road Warrior" type bikes, really beat up, lots of tape wrapped around the top tube and gigantic chains. Front baskets and fenders pretty common. Next time will take my camera.

There were many people riding bikes to the Tour down Under today but this was most interesting to me.

From Westwood Village (near UCLA):

Poor locking technique (not at all uncommon to see a bike locked through the frame with one or both wheels nicked.

UCLA rents out bikes for the quarter--Felt Cafe 8s. Spotted one in the wild. Not sure why he bothered to bring his helmet if he wasn't going to wear it anyway, but oh well.

A bakefiet in Santa Monica.

Where in Peru? Don't really remember seeing too many cyclists when I was there--then again, I wasn't paying close attention. I know one thing--some of those roads in Lima would be scary to ride on!

Trujillo Peru, it was nothing but bikes, Taxi's, or walking. Even a bike like that one I posted, left alone for more than a minute would be gone ! Lima was different though, seen some pretty good stuff there, in the nicer sides of town. Here was what I finally came up with. And that was at the top of the food chain, the roads were so bad you really needed a MTB to ride. Richard

Sorry guys, was just trying to link a picture from Photo Bucket to BF, but looks like it is the whole Album of the pictures I took with my phone. From the Rail-Trail in Erwin. Technical difficulties here. (LOL)

Went to watch my friends' Cyclo Race today. Many incredibley expensive bikes there but I took pics of the groovy bikes that interested me and my friends' bikes.

I was at the Starbucks that is always full of cyclists because it's at the end of the Cherry Creek cyclepath. Today was the first day over 50ºF in a long time, so there were TONS of cyclists there. This is what I like to see! The bike racks haven't been this full since October.

Never understood the appeal of having handlebars that go up to your shoulders.

Seeing this made me laugh, I made something similar back when I was 13 or 14, but I used one frame, 2 pipes 6' long, and 2 bolts. This was after Dad had taken us to see the circus, I saw some pipes laying around, an old 24" bike I didn't ride, and the mind went crazy.

I turned the frame upside down, reversed the fork, crank, and rear wheel. Drove one pipe into fork top, and installed handlebars to the top. Drilled holes into seat stay top and bottom, and bolted other pipe to the side of the seat stay, then installed saddle to the top. Was hard to dismount, tried to do a wheeley only 3 times, my heels and tail bone hit the ground at the same time each time. I learned to just climb down between the pipes. Had to hold the pipes and run to get up onto the peddles, then peddle a bit, then push up onto the seat. I sure got some looks from everyone that saw me. Dad had to try it once, got hooked on one of those old vertical curbs and stopped. Fell to his hip, and was sore for a while. I rode one of those 20" Stingrays, so this was just for kicks. Wish I had kept both of those bikes.

Here's some I have seen.

This guy had a rear flat about 4 miles down the trail.

This nice gal was picking up trash.

This couple flew past me, I couldn't keep up.
