Not so New
The Eldi tool is a spoke nipple driver, the bit used to have a centering pin in the center.

from the last picture you can see this tab can swing to the side. I'm assuming a stop device so you don't push a pin all the way out the backside

I saw a fellow (Chester Spier) on youtube who repaired a shot spring on a different company's antique push drill. I'm thinking that lock nut on the top of the barrel may allow access for replacement... for the future. Also can try to find a bit that fits with the point intact.

Hard to believe so much fine stuff could come out of one shed! Please keep it coming.
The name I have heard for those nipple drivers is "Yankee Screwdriver." The one in the shop where I built wheels in the late seventies was a recalcitrant beast which no amount of lube could loosen up.

I keep feeling like I'm an old television add... "But wait! There's more!" I haven't even started trying to organize the two crates of TA and Simplex Cranks and chain rings. I had to do a dump from my own garage Saturday and Sunday to find space for the crates... but wait... the shed still has more!!!

Does this spoke wrench have an actual specific size that got worn open, or was it designed to use by grabbing when it catches along the wedge cut

Parts: Suntour Barcon Accushift

They look like braze on covers. Not sure what they would be doing with bar ends that need stops on the shifter braze-on area.
