Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just bought an 87 Nishiki Olympic 12 today to replace my commuter bike that I sold to a friend. It's gonna take a little love to get where I want it but I'm happy. Best part - it's a bike made the year that I was!

Duvios are awesome. I have the shoe covers and matching gloves. Picked them up last year on Chainlove. Warm, well constructed and pretty easy to put on, unlike my previous castelli covers.

Cool. i usually once they go on they stay on for the season. then i just roll the ankle part down so my foot can get in/out. should have them by the end of the week from Backcountry.

My wife was not happy when I broke our broom in half using it to hold my bike up between two chairs so I could work on the RD alignment...

Now I bought an air attack because of you guys, lol. You're a bad influence! I bought the shield version, though, to use in my road bike Eddie Merckx style TTs.

They asked me not to give the name since it wasn't an advertised deal, but I just lucked into an end of year super close out.

I lucked out and got mine off chainlove.com for $1500. Keep an eye on them in case they run them at that price again.

You can have my Roubaix if I ever get it back. On one condition... you fly down here and ride it back to your place!
