Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I feel like this today. 💩

I refer to it as feeling volley. Draw your own conclusions.

Your back must be feeling pretty good if you're attacking the net.

Seem to have run out of fuel or something, poor duffers. Wonder of anyone picked them up.

Really? Wow! He was in the road club when I joined in 1989. He didn't do a lot of the rides I did back then but eventually he stopped racing and did some club rides with his wife on their tandem. They split up and both remarried and they both still ride bikes; I'll see him this Saturday if I decide to do that ride.

Do you wear this to work? If no, you're not a real railroadman.

Nobody wears getups like that except maybe retirees working for tourist operations.

The audiobook I put on when I was too sick to move was about code breaking during the two world wars. The letter 'E' is the most common letter used in English, Spanish, German, and at least a couple other languages.

I am truly back among the living this morning, with the residual sore arm to remind me of the trials and tribulations.
I figured out (finally) how to see the BF password that the laptop knows but neither the phone nor I know, and was able to log in on the phone for the first time in a good while. Now it appears my phone knows it too. Vamos a ver. Had I been able to figure this out earlier, I would still be seedsbelize..
My digestive tract appears to have been the most negatively affected system by the vaccine,
Now that I'm back among the living, I can try out the refurbished weedeater once the grass dries out some.
And I'm going to fiddle with my wife's mountain bike to see if I can make it work for me. maybe go on a short, trial ride.
