Does the "C" in "C50" denote "Clincher"?

Added white nokons, new swiss stop pads for the kcnc brakes, the brakes too... and some fresh tape... plus kcnc skewers, might be hard to see all of that...

Let me know how long those Nokon's stay white. I'm thinking about Nokons in white v. Yokozunas (ugly but cheaper) sometime in the summer. Nice bike though.

The Giant is repaired, and looks a little different. I still need to build the Powertap/Velocity rear wheel, but I've got a loaner. I also went to a Powertap front hub.
I need to go and swap my Regal saddle on it, asn well as put tires on my clincher wheels.

I've wanted to post in the thread for a while, and after this morning, I can!
Here, officially, is my race rig!

Can you find the reason I had to withdraw early?

yup, you win 5 bonus BF points!

stopped by the shop to order replacement spokes, they'll be silver. (we never order from the company that carries the exact ones, so a couple of sapim cx-rays will be in there.

As she was raced today.

I chipped off the clear/paint/cosmetic layer of carbon from the inside of the NDS seat stay.
I still have contacts in the collision repair industry, and scored some carbon fiber epoxy for cheap, re-reoxied the stay, checked every day for 3 days for cracks on the frame, had my boss search the frame for cracks, found nothing, ordered replacement parts.
On top of the damage I've already pointed out, it is now clear that not only was my RD hanger bent, but so is my derailleur. I'll be ordering a replacement someday.

Here's the fix, plus the ghetto-style of dating it (Sharpie paint marker). The date is temporary until I get a decal made or something. Also, I know a carbon repair guy (is now in the bike repair biz) who has a 24 hour turnaround.

Another one for the Caad9 crew. Sorry, I live in an apartment, so no garage door, let alone a white one. And no, the saddle isn't that nose down, must be something funky with the angle I took the picture at.

Frame: Caad9 56
Group: Sram Rival
Post: Thomson
Stem and Bars: Ritchey Pro
Saddle: Selle Italia SLR XP
Wheels: Neuvation C38 Tubular

No idea on the weight, but seems light enough.

is it me or is the angle of the seat tube different than the angle of the seat post?...looks like it's not tight enough or something, or maybe there isn't enough in there?

I think it's an opitcal illusion caused by the light post.

My bike has a similar optical illusion because the seat tube tapers as it goes up, so both sides aren't parallel to each other and the seat post.

After a little spill on the 595 last weekend and realizing I'm no longer on peak form, I decided to race this bike this weekend (Barrio Logan and San Luis Rey 3s):

Switched it from '06 Record to '09 Rival and put some classic bars on since last time I shared it. Rival es muy magnifico.
