I hear with all the "stash" you have finding the top of your workbench may be problematic.

ISO: This may be a longshot. I have some vintage Robergel "15g" Trois Etoiles spokes in 302-307mm lengths and I need them to be 296-297mm length. Does anyone out there have the proper French spoke threader, and if you do, would you be willing to cut down the spokes I have and thread them?
I think the thread needs to stay the same, because I can't get away with cutting off the current threads (about 10mm in length) and still have enough length for the 3x pattern I am planning. Otherwise I would cut off these threads and thread them with modern 15g threads.
Maybe this isn't even posisble - never used a spoke threader, but I imagine it would be like using a die.
I've got some campy stuff I'd let go of, and of course greenbacks if nothing I have is of interest.

Stash?? What stash?
you mean this stash?
The work bench. Looks like an unpacked Box O' Crap on the front half,.
more of the un-findable work bench
I spent three hours yesterday, trying to refurbish two NR rear derailleurs. Finally got one apart and found more rust and debris in it than any before. Second one was not as bad but the cages were destroyed. Looks like I'm gonna have a few small parts, from these two. Fortunately they were inexpensive Flea Bay finds, but they will become parts to save a few others. Smiles, MH

Now that's a shop style I understand. And a type of project, (the NR derailleurs) I totally get..
Thanks for posting. I don't know if I feel less crazy, but I feel like I'm not alone! and I have been totally solo for 2 weeks.(Hard to think having something in common with a guy with the screen name "Mad Honk" makes one less crazy...
As you would say, Smiles, Eric

I’ve heard of those - very cool. But I think, in the traditional sense, they would be more appropriately called medium reach.

True enough. Used to be called "standard reach". Say that now , and half of eBay thinks you mean 39-49mm

The question I have for you is, are the French spoke threads different in pitch? Or is it just the gauge (French 15ga being the same as US/British 13ga or 2.3mm)? I assume you've compared them to some other spokes. Reason I ask is, they sell thread rolling heads for 13ga and you could buy one and put it on my tool if it would help you. Might even be able to spread out my 14ga rolling head and try one.

Help!
Realizing that the flat lever skewers on the new Strawberry might be a little to vintage, I want to setup some of the curved ones to see how they look.
Thought I had a set but only have one, need another.
TIA
Like this.
Really only need the lever but will do whatever it takes.

I found some Robergels and some Unions on Ebay both in that length. I've never built with vintage spokes before, so I alsways just get everything cut to the exact length I need, but based on some research I convinced myself 1-2mm too short would be too much.

It's like using a die but with a lot more oil involved. I've "extended" plenty of spoke threads with mine, when I need spokes just to be a few mm shorter.

ISO: Record/Nuovo Record brake calipers. User condition is fine. I'd prefer the pre-CPSC version. I don't need levers, just calipers. VeloBase.com - Component: Campagnolo 2040, Record (standard reach, pre-CPSC)
HAVE?: Too much you list. What do you need? I have more than my share of Campagnolo derailleurs and cranksets, lots of wheels, plus other stuff, too.
Thanks in advance.

I would like to trade a pair of MKS AR2 pedals in very good condition for a pair of MKS Sylvan Tourist pedals in same condition. I'll trade photos if anyone is interested.

Van, in today's mailing from Boulder Bikes, I saw this. Not sure if it's a match, but they also showed a few other Campy skewer items.
