I'm guessing Prestige without looking it up.

I like low gear and modded parts as much as anyone, but having tried the Nuovo Record with a long cage on my De Rosa I can tell you I wasn't happy with it. It shifts OK (not great). My biggest problem with it was the way it looks. It completely defeats the purpose of trying to go period correct and Campy.

After several years of pretending it didn't bother me, I finally decided that I had enough bikes with super low gearing and I could stand to have a few with gearing that only worked for me on mild climbs. For anything steeper, I could pick a different bike. The De Rosa looks much better with a proper NR and your Cinelli would too.

BTW, the lower picture shows the bike with a 48-42-30 triple (Red Clover triplizer) and (I think) 14-24 freewheel. That's still a decently low gear.

@Andy_K, that's a good point. I came to the same conclusion recently. With three wide range 9 speed builds, I have my climbing needs met. No need to go wide on the vintage builds because the more modern stuff does what it does so well. Plenty of riding to do on those narrower gear ranges, so now my vintage builds stay Campagnolo.
