Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That Hincapie and Vande Velde rode the new Di2. I wonder if they will ride it all season?

If you don't like the Vs. commentary, you can get streaming audio from the Eurosport site.

I was quite surprised that the break on the last stage didn't amount to much, given how strong the escapees were.

Come on, its February. most of the euro teams are here to train

Levi is always on. Not sure how he does it but seems like he is always strong.

I read somewhere that Sastre is sick.

Its February! TOC would probably be a better fit in April so they can go into the Sierras.

I think this is the arraingement that calmed Contador down a bit. If for some reason Contador is not on form the team leader will be between Lance and Levi, with Levi probably being the stronger of the two.

Who knows what will happen if Contador isn't there for the end though. It will be interesting to see.
