Bianchi
Hi I am trying to figure out what a Bianchi Reparto Corse SBX classic is worth. A guy has one for 400 dollars is it worth it? I have pictures but can not figure out how to upload them. It keeps asking for a url and I don't have one. Thanks

Unless it is in rough condition and/or outfitted with low-end components, it's hard to envision it not being worth $400. A very good condition SBX frameset alone could bring that amount. However, pictures will be required to determine true value. As suggested, use a photo hosting site and post the links.

I am pretty sure that isn't a SBX frame and possibly not a Reparto Corse frame. Can you get some more and better pics?
An SBX would have a chrome unicrown fork and chrome stays with more of vertical dropout.
This certainly looks like it is worth $350-400 but we should try and figure out the frame first.

It looks like 1988-1989 model with a Columbus SLX decal, as opposed to Columbus/Bianchi SBX. Those look like monoplanar brakes, so it may be a Super Leggera with Campagnolo Chorus. Unfortunately, the picture is not quite clear enough to say with absolute certainty.

Yes, that's definitely a Columbus SLX decal and those are monoplanar brakes and the crankarms appear to be Chorus. It looks like a 1988-1989 frankenbiked Super Legerra. The Ergopower brifters and freehub are later additions, while the resin pedals are a distinct downgrade. Unfortunately, we can't confirm the derailleur system from the non-drive side photo.

Absolutely, decals look like '89 to me. As noted, looks like SLX sticker to me too and the fork crown fits for that year.
Frame and fork alone are worth $400.

The crankset says Brev Campagnolo 53-AS. The tires are Mavio open 4 cd. The frame says Columbus Acciaio Cimo Cycles SLX Rinforzi Eucoidali. Also says Edoardo Bianchi
The hamdlebars say Giro D'Italia Cinelli 64-42. Also says Columbus Foderi Laminati

The brifters are from 1992 based on the triangular extensions on the tips,so I'm assuming the derailleur and freehub are from the same year. I still believe it's a modified 1988-1989 Super Legerra. Serial number?
