I'm going spray the fork black and also the red headset black.
That doesn't look half bad.

I have an All City Big Block Track Fork (white, 1+1/8", 30mm rake, drilled for brake). The steerer is cut. But, if you have a small or medium sized frame, it should be fine. I had 11cm of head tube + 1.5cm of stack + the stem when I used the fork. $50 shipped in the continental US.

Here it is:

It's new. I put it on to train on the road, never trained on the road, then took it off.

Hello all, Tony from St. Louis here. First post. Bought the 61cm for 179 with 9 bucks for shipping, tried Omniums on it yesterday, with no luck. No problems fitting a 52 chainring on the frame, the problem is with the crankarms hitting the chainstays. Looks like I will be buying the FSA carbon cranks, or trying to crimp them by hand, or filing down some crankarms... Cane Creek integrated headset, Reynolds Ouzo Pro carbon fork, Easton stem and bars. Pics to come

Visp fork looks better, just get the kinese carbon pro fork it has a high rake for your frame (38-40) But its only 100

Really??? Crimping aluminum isn't exactly the best idea.

Ended up just getting the FSA Carbon Track crankset, and yes you are right, I probably would have ended up ruining the frame

isn't the crimped FTP's supposed to make it possible for 49t then? or is it to give clearance for the crank arms?

The frame with one crimp closer to the BB can clear larger chainrings but may have crank arm clearance issues.

The frame with the crimp close to the BB and over the J in the chainstay Fuji logo should be able to clear large rings and crank arms no problem.

The frame with the bendy seat stay with no or crimp is a newer version of the frame, I believe, and has plenty of clearance for both.

people stop quoting my picture and READ. i bought a 105tr and the visp fork is going no where but a craigslist customer's hands or the ****ing trash. it's worth nothing.

fork rake is important with a 74 angle ht.

thanks for the bad advice though.

I got a 58 with the revised stay with the etc sticker on it like the one in post 278. Installed omniums today without issue, mostly. They are 175s and fit fine in terms of drive side. Plenty of room. The non drive side crank is close to the stay, probably fine but might add a 1 or 2 mm spacer. put a oval concepts fork jetstream fork on it I had. 44mm rake, but am doing a pursuit build so should be ok. Thinking about a cervelo t3 pursuit bike down the line. The ftp has the same stack and reach as the 56.

I'm wondering if the clamp slipping problem is because there is not enough seat tube above the bolts to "hold" its shape against the tension of the clamp. They may have remedied this with which I believe is the newer (and taller) seatclamp design (found on the '10 and '11 FTP). Geez, these things are heavy...

inseam is like 31 3/4.

i'm a very proportionate 5' 7 1/2".

the FTP has a very low top tube in order to accomodate lower aero bars and keep the head tube small. we went over this in the first few pages of the thread.

also, YOU ALL SEEM TO GLOSS OVER THE FACT THAT I HAVE YET TO CUT MY SEAT MAST.
it's almost like you think "oh wow cc700 doesn't use cranks or tires!"
