Depends what your looking for. The Submariner used 18-8 stainless steel rolled tubes joined to aluminum lugs. The goal was to make it rust-proof and sell it as a coast line bike that required low maintenance. Yes, its a lower end model but I find these more interesting than the higher priced Bridgestone Diamond series

Never seen one of THESE before: an alloy frame re-branded but NOT an ALAN!
Is this Japanese or one of those other FR frames that was NOT a Vitus?
not so very curious it would seem after all...Just a plain Vitus 979 (re-branded Bertoni) but I wasn't expecting anything that easy!

Alan made a number of bikes for other well know "Brand" name in the bicycle industry...
