FWIW. We completed last week and the gpx file was good and useful with minor quirks but I came to say that Your reroute between Piermont and GWB was hillier than expected 😀👍

Ha! Yeah, 9w is pretty hilly Very happy to hear it worked out for you! If you remember the areas where it was wonky let me know and I can fix.

Glad they saved and rehabbed the former railroad bridge across the Hudson. It was set on fire by vandals back in the 70s. ‘73, IIRC.

here are a couple of examples where one can just cut across instead of the extra loop

Do you still have this? I don't see it when I click on it, but would happily build off of yours if you still have it.

Hi. Yeah. I deleted it while trying to do housekeeping...I generally don't like a lot of old routes hanging around. It makes it sometimes messy while I am on a trip and need to choose the right thing.

So, I went back to my Strava account and I exported the actual trip (with some imperfections) and then I joined the gpx files together and recreated the route for You:

https://ridewithgps.com/routes/38909823

get it while it is still there. It may disappear by May 5th when I am on another trip. Cheers.
