SHOT_999 here saying HOLA from Chino Hills... I usually ride on weekends right out of my garage and around Chino Hills/Chino... Sometimes out towards Diamond Bar area... I am married and have 2 kids, 5 1/2 and 3 1/2; the youngest was diagnosed with Autism last year... BTW, anyone know of any organized rides to benefit Autism Speaks and the like? I've been looking and can't find any rides in the So Cal area...

Look on Active.com. I'll take a peek too. If you find one, please start a thread for interest in So Cal. You're likely to get other riders to join you.

Thanks Alicestrong! Yeah, I've been looking in the Charity Events forum... Nothing there... But I'll keep looking around and when I find something I'll start a thread.

My great-nephew is also Autistic...we have done the walks for CAN, and donate to them, as well as Austism Now and others...I have been asking about bike rides, but none of them seem to do that...

Living in Duarte CA riding approximately 100 leisurely miles a week.
Most of my bicycles are relics from the 90s. My wife has just as many bicycles as I do so its nice to be able the ride experiences with her.
Road bikes are my usual obsession however, I occasionally get out on the MTB since Southern California has so many good trails.
I can usually be seen riding San Gabriel River Trail between Encanto park and the Long Beach harbor or in the mountains above Glendora. I often ride with the wife but lately have been riding solo.
This is a picture of us after climbing the 10k' Haleakala Volcano on Maui.
And this is me riding the Solvang Century last March

Hi, my name is Bing and I have an addiction to carbon fiber. I need help! I'v asked my so called friends for help yet they ridicule me and only egg me on. When I'm jonsesing badly I can be found in a dark room by myself sniping bikes on ebay. I usually ride in San Diego (Southbay/Coronado loop; Scripps Olde Pro/variations of ... ; UCSD up the coast; Alpine ... Pine Valley ... Mt. Laguna). I'v been lurking for a while and really like how the socal forum is like a big family. By the way, I want to know when y'all LA people coming down to S.D. for a ride? The balance of power is definitely north of pendleton. Here's my 2 newest babies and a pic of me.
