What would you relate your bike/s to as far as motorized vehicles?

I was pondering the other day my small stable of bikes. For whatever reason it popped into my head that the Giant Rincon is like a Jeep Wrangler, the Surly LHT is like a Buick, and the Schwinn Peloton is like a Corvette.

Which motorized vehicle would you say your bike/s equate to?

I have one bike that is named Bessie the Planet Express freighter on account of it's tubing is usually reserved for tandems, it's super long wheel base, the Rohloff planetary gear set. It now even has a black Quarq power meter. It's powered by dark matter!

planet_express_ship_ortho_by_unusualsuspex-d7gaoc6 by Richard Mozzarella, on Flickr

It wears 559x54 tubeless knobby Compass tires now for all gravel & tour/travel/camping duties.

Tubeless helps it to be 200% efficient.

They don't. IMO, as paleontologist Stephan Jay Gould put it in an entirely different context, "non-overlapping magesteria."

I think my Higgins cruiser would most closely relate to my old Western flyer motorized cruiser.

My bikes would be like a Pinto, Vega, Aztec and Yugo. No Ferraris. Can’t afford the upkeep.

Since I don’t think any of my bikes has an original spec’d part, a 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT.

I would say my Specialized roubaix is akin to a Subaru. Racey but not limited to pavement. And it gets thrashed in all kinds of weather

My salsa Fargo on the other hand is more of a unimog

And my trek remedy rides like a trophy truck

If you're comparing the cargo capacity of the bike to that, er, truck? -- then you obviously pack too much when you tour.

My buddy's company makes carbon fiber friction discs for a variety of things. Their main focus is mining equipment. He sends me pics every now and again of some pretty jaw dropping equipment like that truck. Musta been pretty cool to check out.

Thanks. It hasn't been getting as much riding time as it deserves.

The truck is the largest one ever built and was used in the coal mining industry in Canada. It was retired a long time ago and has been on display in Sparwood, B.C. IIRC, the informational plaque claimed it is the most photographed truck in the world.
