Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

so is that kind of like when darth vader said, "resistance is futile." ??

this silly ad campaign aside, some people are trying to make a difference in this world, by not owning cars for one. and just because many bike products rely on oil, or are petroleum-based, doesn't mean there's no point in consuming less of the damn stuff. but yeah this campaign is dumb, even though i agree with it for the most part.

anyway, that's the worst web design i've seen in a long time!

I about pulled a guy out of his truck and kicked his ass in front of his girlfriend on my ride last night. He's lucky he put his seatbelt back on.

I think I'll go buy some more PI socks

"we emit miniscule amounts of greenhouse gases"

depends on diet, no? If lots of cyclists are eating bean burritos before the daily ride, count on methane levels to rise.
