Cycling Specific Signs - Cheers and Jeers
Let's post some pics of bike-centric signage, the "tip o' the hat" and the "waggle-of-the-finger" and the "WTAF?!?"
Minneapolis has so many bike specific signs, this one is a couple blocks from my house and I love it. Anybody else have signs like this in your community?
Tip o the hat to Three Rivers Park District for this sign! (I mean the bottom sign - not to top one )

UGH! Is there a way to edit the thread title? I shouldn't post stuff when I foggy with the worst head cold. Pro-tip bleach everything and bath in purell ... don't get this cold!

Thanks for the heads up. Or should I say butts up? (This sign has since been removed since the RR tracks have been paved over. Before they were, the crossing angle was nasty.)

Those bright flashing lights on during daytime are just absolute nightmares on the Minuteman, I hope they put up more of those signs.

We recently got a M.U.P.
It has silly signs, might post them later, if I remember to stop and take a photo.
A recently built overpass, its usually so crowded that it is un-rideable most of the time.

Heh. Not to get off topic, but I remember camping at the county park along the Mississippi River in Palisade, MN. On the main street there were signs setting forth parking restrictions for snowmobiles. I thought "Man! They must get a lot of snow up here." The Soo Line ATV Trail runs through town, so maybe that results in a lot of snowmobile traffic in the winter.

I used to work with a guy that would commute by snowmobile in the winter. And this was in the suburbs, not out in the rural areas!

Nobody cares!
China has great hardware, running some of the worst software you can imagine.
Rules and laws may or may not apply, and often times they can change on a daily basis.
Sometime I win, usually I lose, common sense isn't so common anymore.

Outrageously helpful and informative sign for cycle commuters trying to reach the employment center of downtown:

When I started this thread, this WTF?!? sign was on my to-do list:
Here's the 'constricted' area
Second sign in this post: these signs (and other similar trail rules) can be found throughout the Twin Cities ... and my bike-buddy (Adam) did the art for the signs.

The local tap room had an anniversary party and the party closed the block to cars and the bike Blvd.

They just rebuilt a new corridor in our Midtown area. Lots of confusion on what is the road and what is the MUP. Just spotted these signs earlier last week. Still a lot of people walking on the Auto lane.

I can understand the confusion ... not too clear what is road and sidewalk (sidepath)
Minneapolis' Midtown Greenway gets cars on a regular basis. Very confused driver took car onto Midtown Greenway in Minneapolis | City Pages Worst still, there's no way to turn around on the Greenway (too narrow) and there are only a small number of at grade crossings for an exit (nearly 3 miles with one at grade crossing). This is the one at-grade crossing and it does look like a road and the tiny "No Motor Vehicle" sign is easy to miss.

Had never heard the term "ripper" to describe a steep hill.
