Yikes I am not jealous in the slightest . It's supposed to be mostly sunny and around 70 degrees in Boston Saturday... I am excited!

I made it to work.

So did I. My boss and one other guy made it in. My boss told me I had every right to give everyone crap since it was on my bicycle. On the other hand though, I can't ever use the excuse that I can't get to work because of the roads.

I tried riding on my street last night, it wasn't pretty. I was on skinny tires (35s), when I really should have been on my mtb. Was good for a laugh, anyway

I live and work in central denver. I drove to work yesterday and was planning to try and bike today but was struck down with a major cold so I'm home today feeling as if my head is going to explode.

This morning was the worst... the roads were icy, but the skies were clear. The idiot drivers were out in force!

Definitely need an RPG launcher on my bike.

That is awesome. I got some weird looks while I was riding also.

On Monday and Tuesday, an undergrad called one of our professors claiming the wind was too fierce and too much sand was blowing for him to make it on his motorcycle. She laughed and told the student that they had better try another excuse, because I'd made it (the same distance) on my bicycle.

Of course, she didn't mention that I made it in tucked so far my teeth were firmly clenched around my bars. On a mountain bike. In the granny gear. Standing up to crank.

(35 MPH headwind up an otherwise innocuous 2% grade).
