After long , hot rides I crave salt. Makes me wonder if i need to add more to my diet during the ride?

I used to do an MS 150. If you raised more than $1,000 (which I did every year starting with 2005), you got a half BBQ chicken lunch with slaw at the end of day 1. I used to look forward do scarfing down that bird every year.

I add salt to my water bottles. not enough to taste. plus I add a squeeze of lemon juice for flavor anyway
