Oops, not another where the owner forgot to read the directions.

Dasani Promotional Racing Bike - $200 (Norcross)

I suppose there is plenty of tire clearance. It might ride just fine.

He has no idea what they are but still asking about twice what they're worth even if they were Cinelli.

Racing Road Bike | road | Ottawa | Kijiji

High end racing bike. Like my other bike, the family of the estate have assured this is a Cinelli frame, however I cannot confirm as I do not know bicyles and there are no markings. Great condition. 20" Frame. $1850.00

Hercules bike

It's a funny picture but it's not really that bad condition of a bike imho and they are selling it for parts, $25 but I'd think one could get the bike rolling again. A true barn find perhaps or it looks that way, like it's been in a marsh actually. A pre-Raleigh Herc?

I realize this is a few weeks old but that is a Garston Delivery Cycle and they are fairly collectible. $65 is a darn good price for one in that condition and I've never seen one with rear fenders before. I still have the one I had as a kid back in the 50's, it's a bit bigger than this one but it's in REALLY rough shape. My wife is using it as a planter. We used to sit in the box and ride it, may have been the inspiration for the "Big Wheel".

I think that may have been a Hetrick.

My brother has a greenhouse and has been looking for interesting pots, but that looked too rare and restorable to do that to. Of course, who knows, it may have ended up as a planter anyway. I may try to use it as inspiration.

Hmmm... ????

59 cm 90's re-welded roughly, - $200 (eug)

brand new quality rear wheel, tire, 8 spd cassette, chain, and crank.
only has front brake.
other parts used but good quality
One might expect a photo showing the "repair"

And a downtube to stem shifter conversion?

Ah, Hetrick is a new one on me, that would explain the fenders. Yeah, that is in pretty decent shape, far too nice to make a planter out of. My Garston was already well used when I got it around '58 or so and I showed it no mercy. My cousin's kids had it for several years and thoroughly "enjoyed" it as well LOL. Mine is too far gone to restore but it makes a cool porch planter. As bad as it is I've been offered $50 for it but the sentimental value is far greater. Hallmark made miniatures of them several years ago plus a smaller Christmas tree ornament version, my wife bought me both.

Yeah you'd think they might want to show you the actual rough welding, lol..

A dreamer's price for a once-proud bike (now a trash pile). How do you bend a fork forwards, anyways? And creative saddle/ seatpost installation.

[h=2]Trek 970- $300 (Buford, Mall of GA)[/h]https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/bik/5522979860.html\

970 Trek for SALE! Built in 90s but great for off road into and streets! New seat that is incredibly comfortable. The frame alone for this bike is going for $260 on eBay! Give me a text or call if interesting or have any questions!

That fender is pointless. It's like walking around with post-its on your nipples and pretending you have a shirt.

I'm always amazed by pics of bikes with backward fork installs. I realize lot's of people out there arent exactly bike mechanics, but if you're even marginally mechanically inclined you'd think that fork would look very wrong. Plus you're seeing bikes all around you with the forks pointing opposite of yours - surely there's a reason for this. Never underestimate some people's incompetence I suppose.

Many bikes have that style of top tube. It is called a camel back.

$175?

I thought the TT was just curved. How the heck can you do that to it?

Those kinds of bikes with top tubes like that are "really old school". When I see bikes with double top tubes, it's sort of the same thing; that kind of thing was done more cerca the 1920s and perhaps before. It's a bit surprising to see that on a Raleigh Sport actually.

This one has 2 bars like I was saying (those were for strength I understand) and one can see how the one top bar is curved.

This is Roadster stuff I'd say.

How old is the Raleigh?

My guess was that it was a "newer" model. Maybe mid 80's.

Exactly, people should go look at the really old bikes, especially as I inferred too, Roadsters, 3 speeds, single speeds, maybe some work bikes; that's where one might see top tubes in this manner.
