Sold! For full asking price too. It will quite probably cross paths with the World Sport I sold earlier this year, it went to the same neighborhood to be used for the same purpose. The young lady it's going to is 5' 11" so it's a good match up.

If you set the price right, it will sell.
Schwinns are a tough market. They've had a bad name in the roadie community for decades, and perhaps some of that is rubbing off.
Plus, one can still buy NEW bikes for your asking price at dept stores.
I've bought a few things on Craigslist where the seller commented that their phone has been ringing off the hook since minutes after placing the ad. But, there is a fine line. Price it too low and it sells in the first half hour. Price it too high, and it languishes on Craigslist for months or years. In the middle, and it should sell in a few days.
On E-Bay, list at $1, and it will sell. Perhaps enough to surprise one. But, I wouldn't sell Schwinns on E-Bay. It is hard to pay $100 shipping on a $100 bike.
As a buyer, personally I get burnout from seeing the same adds over and over again.
Perhaps delete your ad. Take all new pictures. Write a new story about it, and drop the price by $20.
If you don't hit the school market in Sept/Oct, it may not sell until spring. Pull the add down for the winter.
I've also gone mostly car-free. So, I judge stuff by distance.
10 miles away... I'll run and get it.
20 miles away... Maybe wait a couple of days, and see if I'm still interested.
30 miles away... I'll ask the seller if they're coming this way. I'll do it for some items.
50 miles away... Better be a mighty good find (sometimes I'll ask seller if they're coming this way).
100+ miles away... Rare now. I've had experiences that it is hard to make long distance deals.
Anyway, if you live in a small community, but come to the big city for occasional shopping trips, then figure out how to meet a buyer at the shopping center.

^ Who are you replying to? Hopefully not me, mine sold today. I hear you on the old Schwinn's though, they are a tough sell. I won't do another one to sell for a VERY long time if ever. This one was purchased as a parts bike but it was too nice to part out, or so I thought at the time.

I finally sold it yesterday. I knew once someone actually seen it in person they'd buy it. He's wanting to give another truck load Tuesday, I'm gonna try to only get 3-4 this time. It's getting to late into the season and I don't want them in my garage all winter.
