@Bikefixr needs to join BF to sell the parts here. But yeah a lot of people will be interested in those parts. These are great bikes. Looking forward to seeing the pics of the bike once it's fixed up.

I didn't realize Columbine was around that long ago. I guess we were pretty parochial in those days. In fact, I didn't discover them until about 10 years ago when I bought some of their quickchaingers and looked them up.

I remember a 1980s Bicycling magazine article had Columbine, Bryan Bayliss and a few other builders of excellence in comparison...maybe Bruce Gordon was part of that article...?

Columbine
Sight says I can’t post any photos, until I have 10 posts, but on the same hand, can’t post more than 5 posts in a span of 24 hours!

It's just after the first five posts you are forced to wait another 24 hours before posting again. But yeah, it's annoying when you want to show or explain something.

Columbine Rolling Sculptures
I was talking with Giovanni, at Columbine Cycle Works, yesterday. We may collaborate on a project, together. He is a modern day DaVinci. His frames are pure art, that just happens to be capable of moving you over the road.
I just acquired one of his frames and it’s got a lot of bling. It has some rust spots near the top tube area near the steering tube. It will need some TLC.

I think the reason for this is they moved several times most of there early bikes were sold in Colorado were they were located before moving a couple times and ending up in Cal iforna. I see them pop up on CL here Colorado several times a year selling for around a $1000 sadly n rough shape most of the time.

Well, I'm really glad none of you all bought it, because I did. Look past the grime. The parts are meh. I'll sell it all for $100. I wanted the frame, which today is about $4200. The stainless needs a buffing. Going back to Columbine for new paint and a couple braze-on's. It's a full Tange Prestige frame and fork. 56c square. It'll get a fully polished DA group and a new Columbine custom stem made to match and maybe a made-to match seat post. This was the jewel in the rough I've been looking for nearly 30 years.
