Seat to be replaced by new more padded model. Bars have gel under the tape. These are with the light wheels. Weighs about 14.2 this config. I found a lead sinker to put in the seat tube to get up to UCI weight.

We Repair Carbon Bike Frames | Fix Cracks & Paint Damage
Rides exactly the same as before. Up close, top layer of repair has a 3k carbon weave for decoration.
The above company is a local mom & pop operation. Literally. Worked with pop for the repair, mom came down to the basement to say hello. They do solid work.

That sounds right. I just remember the pink frame. I looked him up and he hasn't been on in quite sometime, however, I also took a hiatus from the site, so I kind of lost track of anything.
That's a badass bike though.

It's my first road bike in over a decade and I had a limited budget. But I upgraded the pedals, the groupset (to 105 5800), got a stages power meter, upgraded the wheels, and yesterday I just upgraded the stem.

Nice! Smart upgrades too. My new bike has 5800 105, and I really like it...and I have a bike with 7900 Dura Ace to compare it to.

Built-up in the late spring of last year is my 2011 Ridley Noah, but fine-tuned it last fall to find out I miscalculated the seat position by 3cm (too far back, so I needed to adjust the seat height). Still rocking the post-2012 10-speed SRAM Red/Force components and older Boyds 58mm carbon clincher wheelset (Bontrager RXL wheelset when not racing or when the courses go up). Updated from last year is the new Power2Max PM I snagged on a black-Friday deal (Rotor 3D+ cranks, P2M, and BSA30 BB in the threaded BB frame). Not the lightest thing in the world at about 17.5 lbs, but I'm pretty happy with the bike.

Got my bike cleaned up before stage race this weekend (and of course now there's a chance of rain for the first race).
