There was a lot of good crap on my second go. I had a hard time taking a limited amount.
The stuff I put in was crap to me (a clapped out Brooks from a Super Sport, some gimmicky light up gloves) but in both cases were removed by the very next recipient. YMMV.
Much better than the first go in series 6. I took three whole sets of rusty Shimano GS shifters and derailleurs out of that one to just throw away.

I'm slightly annoyed with the post office. I had the box ready to go Wednesday night, scheduled a pickup online for Thursday. Came home from work Thursday, the box is still sitting there. Late (like 10pm) I get an email that the box was picked up. Check. Nope, still sitting right where I left it under the mailbox. We did get mail Thursday. I figured they'll get it Friday. Come home Friday after work to find mail in the mailbox, but the BoC is still there, so I schlepped it to the post office myself.

Maybe they expected you to load it in their truck for them

The box was on my porch when I got home from work tonight. I should be able to start going through it tomorrow evening. Pics shall be forthcoming.

Ok, here ya go. Opening shot:
I just kept out this book to read and make some room for my crap in there:
I have no idea how I made all that crap fit back in there, but I persevered somehow. hazetguy has his tracking number and I will be able to drop it off at the post office Wed. after work.

my haul:
all taped up, ready for the next victim. i added some fiberglass reinforced tape along the side and bottom, so hopefully that will help the current box survive a few more cycles through the postal system.
i didn't set the record to turn around time, big deal. i still shipped within the required time frame, and with the stuff i am/was dealing with, getting to the post office to ship a box of bike 'crap' became (and is) pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
a few notes and observations:
-there are several large items that take up a lot of room.
-there are several clearly 'borked' items, and they are not cat toys, see rule 12. now i get where deux jambes was coming from.
-(nitpicky item): I know this because I ship a lot of stuff, but maybe others don't. the current large flat rate postage cost is $19.95, so perhaps @crandress the info in the rules can be updated.
-in regards to rule 6: "Try to put in as much or more crap than you remove". with some careful packing, and just the sheer quantity of 'crap' i put in, the box left here at probably double the weight in which it arrived.
-i am excited about the 'crap' i got out of the box, so thank you to whoever put in the 'crap' that i have selected.

We only have 10 victims, erm, players on the list. Let me know if anyone wants to be added back, or if you have been lurking, are interested in being a player, and can abide by the rules, lets get you added!
