What bicycle brands do you see most where you ride?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Marin County / Northern California the bikes I see the most, in order: Specialized, Trek, Cervelo, Pinarello, Wilier, Cannondale and Giant. I think a big part of the distribution is what authorized retailers there are. I ride a Cannondale and there's only 1 authorized retailer. There are a lot more shops that carry Specialized, Trek, Cervelo, Pinarello and Wilier.

Where I'm at, half of what I see are Treks. The other half is a mixture of everybody else--

All I ever see here are Focus, Paramount and Raleigh. Since I only see myself riding.

I'd say about 45% Spec, 45% Trek and then 10% everything else.

Keep in mind that Specialized won the TdF this year and that not only proves their reliability but that they are the fastest bikes.

I am waiting for about 3-5 years into the future when Specialized comes out with an integrated motor into the BB with a more compact battery. Just looking for another 250w or so of supplemented power so I can keep up with CAT 1 bullies with FTP in the 350w range.
I'd actually say that Cannondale had the fastest since Sagan won the green jersey. I'd also say that Specialized was more of a default winner since the main contenders crashed out on wet bumpy roads.

In that case, those that don't ride Specialized with the exception of Contador showed poor judgment and why they crashed during the TdF. This fits with not choosing Specialized as their choice of what to race. Also Contador riding a Tarmac is why his leg healed so quickly and why he went on to win the Tour of Spain so quickly after his devastating injury. Sagan may have won the TdF if he had been on a Specialized. This is hard to say but at least he would have popped better wheelies had he enjoyed the superior weight distribution of a Tarmac or Venge.

Treks...treks all over. Domane, Madone, Emonda, but mostly Madones.

Trek must have some blind person designing the color schemes of their bikes....'cause they ugly.

Whatever the "boutique" is "curating" at the "moment" is what people around here are "riding". (Mostly Specialized).

I don't really notice out on the streets. Probably Spec.

At the CX races, Kona seems to be prevalent.

I am not biased but rather objective. It is undeniable that Specialized makes the best bikes. They won the TdF.

Guys on Konas at CX races secretly pine for a Crux which is the best Cx bike because it is made by Specialized.

Trek. Everybody has a Trek. Everybody's neighbor has a Trek. Every time I see a road bike, it's a Trek. Every time I see a young kid bombing around on a MTB, it's a Trek. Grandparents out enjoying a leisurely ride on comfort bikes, are on Treks! Sheesh... They are all over the place!!!

The second must ubiquitous brand after Trek is Specialized. Giant, Fuji, and Cannondale are around but not as common.

Mostly Next, Huffy, Mongoose, cheap Schwinn, and Roadmaster. By a large margin . If you can find it at Walmart, you can find it here.

As far as quality bikes go, mostly Trek with some Raleighs mixed in. I really don't see that many Specialized bikes around.

Seems that everyone here except for me own a Cervelo. I even see them hanging in people's garages and never see them being used by said people.
