I don't know the history of this brand (in it for the bike porn mainly), but you can find a fair number of Wiliers from the sixties online, like this one, or even this headset. Hard to believe they went out of business for decades. At some point (mid 70ies?) the brand name changed from Wilier to Wilier Triestina, reflecting the start-up of a new factory in a different region in Italy (in Trieste, duh), maybe that's when a bankruptcy was involved.

What I found on the internets with some digging, The copper plated frame was introduced in 1947, in production until 1952 until they went out of business. In 1969, the Gastaldello brothers bought it and restarted Wilier. At that time they used the cromovelato technique instead of plating.
