Stop the sanctimonious BS. If someone is asking advice on getting faster, "train" is a fantastic answer. If they're asking about nice wheelsets, "train" is neither here nor there and is nothing more than a Johnny Lunchpail (RIP pcad) sour grapes response.
Also, if your wheelsets only offer fleeting satisfaction, you must not be doing it right and maybe you shouldn't be giving wheelset advice. 10k miles later, I'm still happy and thankful every time I go for a spin on my current wheels - they were a fantastic upgrade.

for 3k you could buy 6 pairs of super team wheels. Those should last you until the end of time.
Quantity over Quality.

Chris King makes a number of good wheels, ranging from about $1200 to $3K.

Nobody seems to have paid any attention to how you phrased the question.

Not much better than Yoeleo 50-60 mm with DT 240 at $1200
I bought Farsports 55mm S6 Ventoux S recently for $1700. Best value in a very, very fast wheel, in my opinion
Reynolds makes very good and very good value wheels, too. Swissside is another.....fast and reasonable. Good hubs unlike Zipp garbage hubs

let's cut it out. Yeah, I made a snarky remark in the racing forum. But I'm not a troll and I don't hang around to stoke the flames. I have my opinions and folks have theirs. You're not convincing me I'm wrong and there's nothing I can do to change anyone else's minds on the matter. Drop it

Maybe he was looking for a hype man. Even if I agreed with his argument, that's crossing the line.
